Turbat University students develope crime fighting mobile app for Kech Police


The Students from Turbat University in Pakistan have developed a state-of-the-art mobile application named "Shanakht" for the police of Kech district, Balochistan.

The app helps police quickly and easily find important information about suspects and fugitives. This makes it a really useful tool for stopping crime and catching offenders. "Shanakht” is recognized as a key resource that assists law enforcement in bringing criminals to justice.

It takes four months to complete the development of this app. Upon its successful creation, this app was officially handed over to the district Kech Police.

The Superintendent of the Police (SP) Kech, Rashid-ur-Rehman, praised the students for their creativity and hard work and awarded them certificates in recognition of their ingenuity and dedication.

Turbat University students have shown how technology can really make a difference in tackling real-world issues. Their crime-fighting app isn't just an innovative tool, it's a symbol of hope for building safer communities.
