Punjab Safe City Authority PSCA launched the NextGen Safety App for the young generation on the internet to protect them from digital scams and harassment.
This application has been launched under the CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Youth-Focused Initiative, aimed at protecting the younger generation from the various risks associated with internet use. It provides prompt and easily accessible guidance from highly trained professionals, offering youth the necessary support and resources to navigate the online environment safely and responsibly.
This initiative reflects a dedicated commitment to fostering a secure digital landscape for young individuals, enabling them to benefit from technology while minimizing potential harm.
This application helps users in an emergency; they can connect with authorities using their smartphones. The app features a user-friendly interface available in both Urdu and English, making it accessible to a wider audience across Punjab. It includes a real-time reporting system where users can instantly report any suspicious online activity, cyberbullying, or digital fraud.
The authority ensures a prompt response within minutes of receiving any alert. Additionally, the app provides educational content and awareness campaigns to help young people recognize and avoid online threats before they become victims. Parents can also monitor and guide their children through the app’s dedicated parental support feature, making the digital world a safer place for everyone.
