Samsung shipped a staggering 61.4 million recently, eclipsing 20 percent of global smartphone shipments of all the manufacturers; no one came close this first quarter.
By the third quarter, the company maintained its lead: Omdia’s latest analysis shows Samsung shipping 61.4 million smartphones in Q3, with a 19% global market share, re-establishing itself firmly at #1 worldwide.


What Drove Samsung’s Return to the Top


Samsung’s highest offerings, like the Galaxy S25, created a more balanced portfolio alongside the more affordable Galaxy A-series, enabling Samsung to satisfy multiple price points.
