Smartphone makers usually try to make faster processors or better cameras. But Oppo has done something different with the Oppo A7 Pro Max. This phone has a huge 10,000mAh battery; it’s the biggest battery Oppo has ever put in a smartphone!
Although the device has not yet launched, Oppo has released an official teaser confirming several key details, and additional specifications continue to surface via leaks and benchmark listings.
Confirmed Specifications
Oppo has officially confirmed the phone’s headline feature, a 10,000mAh single-cell battery rated for approximately 1,500 charge cycles before capacity begins to degrade. The company has also confirmed support for 80W fast charging, addressing concerns that a battery of this size would result in excessively long charging times.
The teaser additionally reveals the device’s rear design, which features a glossy white finish and a rectangular camera module. Beyond these details, Oppo has not released official information regarding the display, chipset, or pricing.
Oppo A7 Pro Max Leaks and Rumors
The majority of the device’s expected specifications originate from leaks and a Geekbench listing, and should therefore be treated as likely rather than confirmed. Reports indicate a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM, positioning it as a mid-range device rather than a flagship. Storage is rumored to reach up to 512GB, a generous allocation for this segment.
On the imaging side, leaks point to a 50MP primary rear camera, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The device is expected to run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
Notably, despite the size of its battery, leaked specifications place the device’s thickness at approximately 8.47mm and its weight at around 226 grams, figures that are only marginally higher than many standard smartphones despite the significantly larger battery capacity.
Launch Timeline
Oppo has not yet announced an official launch date. The teaser campaign has recently started in China, and more official specifications are expected to be revealed in the coming days. Until Oppo confirms the remaining details, any specifications beyond the battery and design should be considered unverified.
